A Breakthrough in Eco-Conscious Lamination: Introducing Degradable Plastic-Free Thermal Film
As global attention increasingly turns toward environmental sustainability, EKO has dedicated extensive research and development efforts to create a truly eco-friendly pre-coating film. We are proud to introduce our latest innovation: the degradable plastic-free thermal lamination film.
This advanced film enables genuine paper-plastic separation. After lamination, the base film can be peeled away, leaving behind a firmly adhered coating that forms a durable protective layer over the printing.

The base film is made from BOPP, which can be recycled after use to produce other plastic products. The coating, meanwhile, is formulated with biodegradable materials, allowing it to be pulped and dissolved directly along with the paper.
Thanks to its strong adhesive properties, this film is suitable for both conventional and digital printings. Additionally, the coated surface allows for direct hot stamping without compromising quality.
Key features of our non-plastic thermal lamination film include:
- Water resistance
- Scratch resistance
- Hard fold durability
- Strong adhesion
- Print protection
- Direct hot stamping compatibility
- Biodegradability
- 100% plastic-free formulation
How to Use:
The lamination process mirrors that of traditional thermal film and can be performed using standard heat laminating equipment. Recommended parameters are as follows:
- Temperature: 105℃–115℃
- Speed: 40–80 m/min
Pressure: 15–20 MPa (adjust according to specific machine conditions)
